Adelphi, the publishing house founded in 1962 by Luciano Foà and Roberto Olivetti started its publications in 1963. Roberto Calasso became editorial director in 1971, and subsequently president and ceo of the company in 1999 until July 2021. Since September 2021 Teresa Cremisi is the President of the board and Roberto Colajanni is the CEO and editorial director.
